Smaller Band Formats

While our full 9-piece band with a 3-piece horn section and our 7-piece band formats are our most popular, Spectrum Band is available in smaller formats.  We do get these request from couples and events due to space concerns in their venue, budgetary concerns, or just personal preference.  If you are interested in a smaller format of the band please reach out to us either via email at spectrumbandstl@outlook.com or by phone at 314-610-0128.  

Here are our most common smaller formats of Spectrum Band.

Spectrum VI (6 musicians): lead male and female vocalists, piano OR sax, guitar, bass, and drums.  

Spectrum V (5 musicians): lead male and female vocalists, guitar, bass, and drums

Spectrum Trio (3 musicians): Spectrum Trio is a smaller format of Spectrum Band that features our female vocalist, guitarist, and bassist with electronic percussion.  For more information about Spectrum Trio visit SpectrumTrio

Smaller formats of Spectrum Band still include the following at no additional cost;

• As with our larger formats of the band, you can choose from our most popular ADDITIONAL OPTION based on what you need.  Additional options include ceremony sound and ceremony musicians, cocktail musicians, and uplighting. 
• We provide an appropriate PA for your guest count and venue, limited lighting, set up and tear down, and a sound technician on site to assure a great mix and appropriate volume
• We'll emcee your event and handle introductions, speeches, and announcements.
• You are welcome to use our wireless mics for speeches
• We'll provide iPad music during dinner and band breaks, and any time music is appropriate when the band isn't performing

We take the same approach when we perform in smaller formats as we do for the larger formats of the band.  We'll be with you from the moment you book the band until the last note of your reception, planning and working with you to help bring your vision for the perfect wedding reception to life!
